Breast Reduction
For many women with large and uncomfortable breasts, this procedure can greatly enhance their quality of life.
Excessive breast volume can occur in adolescence (virginal hypertrophy) or later in life after childbearing (Macromastia) and often produce shoulder strap indents, as well as skin and posture problems.
Our favorite breast reduction procedure is the vertical reduction mammaplasty (lollipop incision) which produces smaller, perky and uplifted breasts without the more extensive scarring of the traditional (bow and anchor) breast reduction procedure.
This procedure is most often covered by your medical insurance program (we do request preoperative clearance), which takes about 3 hours to perform and 1 week to recover.
